There are many ways in which I can recreate your beloved companion on paper, boards or canvases. Pastel for striking color images or for black and white - Graphite or Pen & Ink.

Pastels are the pure pigments used in creating paint. The final image of a pastel drawing is comprised of applying many layers of pigment dust and/or pastel pencils. Pastel colors remain bright and vivid. They do not fade.
Graphite is a drawing created with lead pencils. The pencils come in a variety of hard and soft leads. The various leads produce the lightest lines to thick heavy lines. These pencils are used to create tonal shading to produce a life like image. This does not create the harshness of a pen and ink drawing.
Pen and Ink drawings are offered for those that like a crisp stark image. Various sizes of pens of black ink are used to create shadows and highlights to create an image that is very realistic.
